These positions would ideally be based in our downtown Boulder, Colorado headquarters, although candidates from other locations will be considered due to the already highly virtualized nature of the company. No relocation is offered or provided.

The company is looking for a variety of part-time or full-time employees, and independent consultants, depending on the nature of the work available.

The Company offers competitive wages and contract labor rates, but does not offer any benefits at the current time.

Title: Engineering Manager 

 

Job Description:

This position is for a Software Product Manager, Developer and Architect all rolled into one. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to lead teams of software developers to build products that ship on time and within budget, as manager, designer and coder.

Location: Boulder/Denver Area

Qualifications:

Candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience managing local and virtual teams in both R&D and Operations
  • Domain experience in both consumer-facing and server-side product development
  • Client-facing experience
  •   Previous experience developing and shipping products built in multiple computer languages
  • A minimum of two years experience with both iOS and Ruby.
  • Apps on iTunes App Store
  • Developed ad hoc builds, and worked with enterprise developer program.
  • Examples of code on GitHub
  • Previously deployed scalable restful https-based web services
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language
  • Fluency in contemporary productivity, communications, publishing and organizational management software including (but not limited to):

Job Description:

This System Administrator for the Cloud Era will deploy, scale, harden, and operate complex distributed internet hosting services for mobile applications.

 

Location: Boulder/Denver Area

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidate will ideally have 

  • Previous experience with multiple cloud based hosting providers including Slicehost/

Rackspace, SoftLayer and Amazon AWS.

  • Previous experience scaling database services in hardware.
  • Extensive LAMP stack experience.
  • Experience working with Ruby and other languages, such as 
  • Python, Shell, Monit, Redis, RabbitMQ, Nginx, and Puppet
  • Evidence of deployment in puppet, capistrano, shell scripts
  • Experience in Management operations such as monit (and others)
  • Working knowledge of SMTP, http/https, sftp 
  • Previous experience publishing to CDNs including Akamai and/or AT&T
  • Previous experience with streaming video
  • Previous experience with debugging daemonized and micron network processes

Job Description:

Technical operations manager will focus on server-side automation scripting, providing superior customer service and continuous network performance

 

Location: Boulder/Denver Area

 

Candidate will ideally have

  • A working knowledge of 
  • Ruby, Python, shell scripting
  • Mucron and daemonization
  • Networking and sockets
  • XML, json, regex and deep parsing experience
  • Packages, gems, and building from source
  • RabbitMQ, XMPP
  • Demonstrated excellence in developing server-side Ruby scripts
  • Previous experience managing network operations center for continuous availability services
  • Demonstrated ability to put out “customer fires”
  • Hosting industry experience

For all internships:

  • Positions are 3 months, $10/hour, up to part-time. We are more than willing to assist in securing school credit.
